Also, the PTA needs many Committee Members and Chairpersons for this year's events!!!  Below is a list of events or programs that need teams of people to run and assist.  All committees can be filled by more than one person and some require 5 or more people.    

 

~ Fundraising (3-4 Members):  Organize end of year fundraiser for curriculum enrichment programs, such as Science and Literacy.

~ Back to School BBQ (3-4 Members): Organize booths and activities for beginning of the year party.  Create and distribute invitations for all IES students, families and teachers.  Coordinate the provision of food.

~ Membership (2 Members):  Promote message for all IES families and teachers to join PTA.  Distribute and collect membership forms.  Maintain electronic file of membership roster. 

 

~ Box Tops/Raley's Extra Program (1-2 Members): Create a flyer to promote the program and distribute school wide.  Collect BoxTops from every classroom throughout the year and submit for payment.

 

~ IES Spirit Wear Sales (2-3 Members):  Sell school apparel at all PTA sponsored events (approximately 5 per year).

 

~ Field Day (3 Members): Organize volunteers to set-up, run events, serve refreshments and clean-up on event day.
